Family shoots are always a good time, but a family farm photoshoot? *swoon!* This one certainly brought a little extra dose of charm and unpredictability. Not to mention that quintessential je-ne-sais-quoi that this beautiful land of the Eastern Townships has to offer.

Two families came together for this special family farm photoshoot, a place brimming with stories and memories. For one of the families, it was a return to tradition. I had the privilege of photographing them here last year, so it was incredibly sweet to see how much the kids had grown and changed since then. Watching them run through the fields, chase each other around, and interact with their surroundings made it clear how much joy this place holds for them.

Farm animals joined in the fun, adding a playful energy to the photos. The kids’ excitement was infectious, and their candid interactions with the animals made for some truly heartwarming moments.

As the sun dipped lower and our photoshoot wrapped up, the moms decided to end the session in the most delightful way. They waded fully clothed into the river that winds through their land, sitting together with cans of beer in hand, laughing and soaking in the beauty of their lives. It was such a genuine and carefree moment, a reminder to celebrate the little joys and connections that make life rich.

This session was a testament to the magic of photographing families in their own element—where memories are made, traditions are born, and love is always at the center.

Séance photo en famille à la ferme

Les séances photo en famille sont toujours un bon moment, mais une séance sur une ferme familiale ? Swoon! Celle-ci avait définitivement un petit supplément de charme et d’imprévu. Sans oublier ce je-ne-sais-quoi si propre à la magnifique région des Cantons-de-l’Est.

Deux familles se sont réunies pour cette séance spéciale, dans un lieu chargé d’histoires et de souvenirs. Pour l’une d’elles, c’était un retour aux traditions. J’avais eu le privilège de les photographier ici l’an dernier, et c’était incroyablement touchant de voir combien les enfants avaient grandi et changé depuis. Les observer courir dans les champs, se poursuivre et interagir avec leur environnement montrait à quel point cet endroit est un véritable terrain de jeu rempli de bonheur pour eux.

Les animaux de la ferme se sont invités à la fête, ajoutant une énergie ludique à la séance. L’excitation des enfants était contagieuse, et leurs interactions spontanées avec les animaux ont créé des moments des plus attendrissants.

Cette séance était une véritable ode à la magie des souvenirs créés en famille, dans un lieu qui leur appartient et qui respire l’amour.
