Engagement Session

March 14, 2024

Elizabeth & Ryan

Though Spring finally feels like it’s around the corner, today I’m looking back at Elizabeth and Ryan’s engagement session last October. Amidst the foggy ambiance of a crisp fall afternoon, we ventured to a misty field where the classic landscape of the Eastern Townships, complete with the rustic charm of a weathered barn, served as our backdrop.

Engagement portrait sessions often evoke mixed feelings – the pressure to pose perfectly, the nervousness of being in front of the camera, and the worry of not looking natural. However, these sessions are not about rigid poses or forced smiles; they are about celebrating the connection and intimacy shared between two people deeply in love. Elizabeth and Ryan’s engagement session was a testament to this. Despite the grey skies and the mist that enveloped the landscape, their love shone brightly, casting a warm glow on everything around them. Wrapped in each other’s arms, they embraced the coziness of the moment, allowing themselves to be fully present with one another, reveling in the simple joy of being together. They laughed, they played, they whispered sweet nothings into each other’s ears. And as the mist settled around us, Elizabeth and Ryan shared a champagne toast, marking the end of our session amidst the serene beauty of the fall afternoon.
